FOUNDER'S MESSAGE

Graphene Square Inc. (GSQ) was founded in 2012.
To date, we have successfully secured 58 graphene related patents. With continuous R&D efforts, GSQ aims to enable the commercialization of graphene and also to be the company that spearheads the advancement of graphene related technologies.
The uniqueness of GSQ lies in its partnership with Professor Byung Hee Hong's laboratory. "I truly believe that collaboration between our company and the laboratory, which pioneered the synthesis of large-area CVD graphene will bring about immense advancement of technology." Prof. Byung Hee Hong

HISTORY

GSQ was founded in 2012 stemming from the technology of large-scale graphene production developed by Professor Byung Hee Hong, who was originally based at SungkyunkwanUniversity (SKKU). Professor Hong is currently holding a faculty position in Seoul National University and is still continuing his efforts to commercialize graphene and to bring about advancement of related technology

    License acquired for R & D Contract with Digitech Systems on
    touch-screen product development technology transfer of

    2012.12 Free Trade Agreement (FTA)
    Sucessfully obtained FTA

    2012.03 MOU with SciEnTech Inc.
    For global sale of CVD Equipment. Our first CVD system
    (TCVD100A) was sold to Cambridge
    University and second was obtained by Columbia University
    (TCVD100B)

    2012.02 Website of Graphene Square launched
    License for on-line sales was registered Research Center
